Hikazoe Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 July 2026 — covers Hikazoe for iOS
"Hikazoe" ("the App") is an app that displays elapsed-day counts — such as "day N" of a streak or "N days until" an anniversary — as widgets. The App is built with your privacy first: it is designed so that no information is collected at all. This policy explains, in plain language, how the App handles information (in practice, it handles almost none).
1. The most important points (summary)
- The App collects no information from you whatsoever — no personal information such as name, email, or phone number, and no usage or analytics data.
- No account is required. There is no login mechanism at all.
- The App does not connect to the internet. The dates, labels, and settings you enter are stored only on your device. They are never sent to or stored on the developer's servers.
- There are no ads. The App does not track you for advertising and does not show the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- Paid features are unlocked with a one-time purchase (¥480). Payment is processed by Apple (the App Store); the developer never receives your payment details (such as card numbers).
2. Information we collect — none
The App does not collect any of the following:
- Personally identifying information such as name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
- Location.
- On-device data such as contacts, photos, or calendars.
- Usage, analytics, or diagnostic data, or advertising identifiers (such as IDFA).
- Account information (there is no login mechanism).
The App contains no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, and no code that transmits data externally. The developer has no means to know what you enter into the App.
3. Where your data is stored
- The counters you create (dates, labels, theme colors, and other settings) are stored only on your iPhone.
- They are kept in local storage dedicated to the App and its widget (data within an App Group and the device's settings storage). Nothing is sent over the internet.
- The App performs no iCloud sync and no proprietary upload to any cloud backup.
4. Managing and deleting your data
- Deleting a counter within the App removes its data from your device.
- Uninstalling the App removes all data stored on your device.
- Because nothing is collected or stored externally, there is no need to request data deletion from the developer — the developer holds no data to delete.
5. Purchases (one-time purchase)
- Paid features are unlocked via a one-time purchase through the App Store (non-consumable, ¥480). It is not a subscription.
- Payment (such as credit card information) is processed by Apple. The developer does not receive your payment details.
- Whether you have purchased is verified within the App based on Apple's purchase information (StoreKit). This check happens through the App Store mechanism; the developer collects no information that identifies you.
6. Who we share information with (third parties)
The App does not transmit, share, or sell your information to any third party. The only external relationship is:
| Recipient | Relationship | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store) | Payment processing for the one-time purchase | Whether a purchase was made (payment is handled entirely within Apple; no card details are shared with the developer) |
7. Children's privacy
Because the App collects no personal information at all, it can be used safely regardless of age. The App does not collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as features or specifications change. For significant changes, we will notify you via an app update or by changing the "Last updated" date on this page. If a future version adds any feature that involves external communication (such as cloud sync), we will update this policy before doing so.
